The Challenge
A global leader in intelligence CX organization is faced with the challenge of providing results, nationwide, for the perceptions of residents in the US to drive the content for their independent blog and review site. They need to conduct annual online surveys to measure and track people’s perceptions and attitudes on safety across the US.
The Solution
Lux developed and ran an annual tracker survey that was 10 minutes in length, measuring residents’ perceptions on different safety categories and the specific types of preventative actions they have taken to protect themselves. Results were US Census weighted up front with 100 respondents coming from each state for a total of 5,000 respondents surveyed annually. Lux also connected the results to FBI data provided by the client for each state to compare survey perceptions vs. actual crime.
The Outcome
A key outcome of this research was creating safety slides for each state, as well as providing nationwide results. The research helped understand and quantify attitudes, perceptions, and concerns about key safety issues among the general population. It helped the client understand the means and measures the general population is taking to protect themselves and their homes on a daily basis. Built awareness and thought leadership with original research and information that aided the client in the development of annual trend reports. And it helped develop insights into how attitudes, perceptions, and concerns differ among the population based on geography and demographics.
