Lux conducted an online survey with 3 key audiences including: Future Homebuyer Prospects, Existing Prospects from their list, and Homeowners from their list.

The Outcome

The research helped inform the home of the future; how families use their homes now (vs. pre-pandemic) as well as interest in features and designs to inform future strategies. It helped uncover purchase motivations and financial thresholds around green building technology, smart home technology, and wellness design/integration.It also shed light on what drives purchase motivations and decisions, not only from a functional perspective, but also from a social lens.
