The Challenge

The official destination marketing organization for a County and its jurisdictions in Washington state, wanted to better understand what drove visitation, where they stood in the market compared to competitors and identify a unique selling point.

The Solution

An online survey with travelers who have taken an overnight trip or are open to take on in the PNW region was conducted and then followed by in-depth-interviews with meeting/ convention planners across North America.

The Outcome

The brand received a clear picture of where they stood in the market, including what traits they could use as potential differentiators, and what traits needed to be significantly improved. A brand refresh was then conducted based on the findings from the research.
