As Lux turn’s eight, it is time to start paying forward the love and support that we have received from our clients, partners, friends and families. With female empowerment as our beacon, we have chosen to support the United Girls of the World Society, the force behind G Day. G Day, a national event series, celebrates girls’ transition from childhood to adolescence. It was created by local entrepreneur Madeleine Shaw as an antidote to the culture of overwhelming technology-filled social pressure that so many girls face. Now in its third year, and offered in several cities across the country, G Day fosters self-acceptance, confidence and connection.
I personally hold these values close to my heart as I know how easy it is to lose them.
Along with our financial support, the Lux team will be volunteering at the next Vancouver G Day and we look forward to being a part of its growth and evolution. Check out the video below to see what G Day is all about.
